Angus has been pushing for us to have children. I love kids but in this world of rising nationalism and hate, I had my doubts. This lady made me rethink that. Maybe this is a moment where we must breath and push hope forward. Maybe taking a stand now, when all seems lost, is more courageous than when times are easy. Maybe now is not the time to give up on our planet and its residents and go higher and harder to birth a new world - one which will need more than 180 characters, or a 10 second sound bite, or some glib Facebook/Tumblr/blog post because it is so busy defining and screaming truth.
